As the senior staff member responsible for all of Healthsource RI’s marketing and communications initiatives, this position is responsible for ensuring effective, coordinated and consistent messaging across all divisions of the organization, including many aspects of HealthSource RI’s customer facing operations. This role entails writing, reviewing and editing information in different formats and across multiple platforms, as well as preparing and disseminating materials to staff, inter-governmental and external partners, stakeholders, customers and the public.
This position is a senior staff level role within the administrative offices of HealthSource RI, a division of the Department of Administration. HealthSource RI is the state’s health benefits exchange.
This position will be responsible for HealthSource RI’s marketing and communications initiatives, which will include setting a budget and managing related contracts, expenses and timelines.

Required Qualifications for Appointment:
Education: Such as may have been gained through: possession of a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Journalism or a related field from a college of recognized standing; and
Experience: Such as may have been gained through: considerable employment in a highly responsible position involving responsibility for the research, analysis, policy development and dissemination of information.
Or, any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience.
